Harvesting the Cancer Fight

In this blog series I will discuss some fascinating aspects of immune defense against diseases like cancer and autoimmune related diseases. I will also discuss methods by which these defense factors can be harvested and used. It has been said earlier in the 20th Century by Nobel Prize winner Paul Erlich pioneer of Immunology that the human body has all of the elements necessary to fight its own disease. Furthermore William Coley, pioneer of modern day immunotherapy layed out the framework for such harvesting of immune defense against disease.

Harvesting Your Own Immunity
I want to propose that in this modern day of medicine it is time to harvest our indivdual immune defenses to fight disease including cancer, autoimmune disease and other complicated disease processes.

• Creating a platform for harvesting immune defense factors from blood, tumor tissue, urine and other body fluids
• Creating an individualized profile to screen and monitor immune defense factors against specific cancers and disease platforms
• Isolating small proteins from blood, urine, tumor and body fluids to signal immune editing capability to fight cancer and autoimmune related disease
