Wellness is a proactive word. It requires decisive action and intelligent decision making. Often, quick fixes and minimal requirements to stay healthy become the norm. I often encounter individuals that do not want to hear the particular details required to change their health as it requires a sacrifice and dedication to change quickie mentality to the long distance of longevity.
Unfortunately, medicine in general has trained generations to depend on the miracle drugs. It is easy to take a pill and difficult to maintain good dietary principles and exercise. It is easy to have surgeons repair serious health threats and seems difficult to not wind up in the position in the first place. Usually, awareness and education is limited and lack of appropriate wellness coaching can keep an individual enslaved to poor health choices and an inferior state of wellness.
